Join Alumni Engagement and the Wonsook Kim School of Art glass program for our “hot stuff,” hands-on glass workshop. Get an exclusive look at glass-blowing, connect with Illinois State’s glass guru John Miller, and make your own glass piece.
Each attendee will work with advanced students from the program to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, colored glass piece.
When: 4-8 p.m., Friday, November 7 OR 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 8
Where: ISU Vitro Center, 403 North Main Street, Normal
Space is limited with groups of three beginning every 15 minutes. Cost is $45 and includes snacks, water, and the glass piece. Twenty-five dollars of each registration will also benefit the Glass Scholarship. Participants must be 16 years or older. Limit three spots per reservation. Because of the cooling process, pieces will be picked up at a later date.
