African Music and Dance
Friday, April 19 , 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm CDT
The ISU West African Drumming and Dance Ensemble (IWADDE) will perform multiple musical selections featuring singing, dancing, drumming, and storytelling from Ghana and Guinea.
Students in the ensemble will showcase what they have learned thus far this semester. Students learned everything through the the rote method.
As always, audience will be encouraged to participate.
This event is open to the general public. It is a child-friendly event.
