A night with Grammy winner J. Ivy

The Illinois State University Black Colleagues Association (BCA) has an exciting weekend of events scheduled for Homecoming 2023 that will champion the theme, Redbirds Reign. The premiere weekend event this year will be, A Night with J.Ivy.
The Grammy award-winning, former Redbird was commissioned to write and perform poetry for Michael Jordan & The Jordan Brand as well as Beyonce’s Black is King film promo. J. Ivy has had influence as a singer and songwriter as well as claiming fame for creating the persona that is John Legend. In addition to the concert, the night includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, nonalcoholic beverages, an Illinois State swag bag and a meet and greet with J. Ivy himself. The night will also feature ISUBCA’s DJ Cliff G. Cash bar available.
Tickets for the event are $115 through October 5 and can be purchased online.
