Black History Month virtual game night

Date:
Friday, February 26th
Time:
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Event Description

The Illinois State University Black Colleagues Association is closing out Black History Month in virtual style. What better way to honor the legacy of often-overlooked leaders in Black history than to create a space to celebrate their excellence?

To celebrate culture and community in an exciting environment, the groups are featuring alumna Rachel (Clark) Gregoire ’09, owner of Trap WarsTM The Urban Game Night Experience. Rachel and her husband, Chris, cofounded Fam Foolery after realizing a distinct lack of cultural representation in the gaming industry. They use gamification to educate, create meaningful moments, and develop inclusive atmospheres in personal and professional lives.

This is a free event. Register online prior to the start of the program to receive access to the Zoom event. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.

Here’s the chance to elevate happiness, increase motivation, and strengthen those Redbird relationships all in one event (plus everyone is going to be a winner at this event too!).

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
