Body Project – ISU Women
Student Counseling Services is offering female ISU students the opportunity to engage in the Body Project, a healthy body image program. Through a variety of fun and engaging exercises, activities and discussions, trained peer facilitators will teach participants how to embrace the healthy ideal, counter fat-talk in their daily lives, promote body activism, and embrace non-appearance related characteristics in themselves and others. The Body Project involves two separate, two-hour sessions. Participants must attend both.
There is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required, at the Body Project website.
