Campus Sustainability Showcase
Thursday, October 26, 2023 , 9:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
All faculty, staff, and students are invited to join the Office of Sustainability and the Center for a Sustainable Water Future in a Campus Sustainability Showcase supported by the Office of the Provost.
In celebration of Campus Sustainability Month and Fair Trade Month, this event will provide many opportunities to learn about current work in the area of sustainability on our campus while also providing space to network and dream up new ideas all in support of the new Illinois State University Sustainability Strategic Plan.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Open house of posters and exhibits highlighting the eight key pillars of the Sustainability Strategic Plan
10:30 – 11:15 a.m.
Campus Sustainability Roundtable Discussions
11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Panel Discussion on Fair Trade and Social Justice and Q&A
Come for one or all of the scheduled sessions as your schedule allows. Enjoy some refreshments while you participate in this zero-waste event and find out how you can contribute to a more sustainable campus.
