Cancelled: College of Education Dean’s Book Discussion – An Open Book
Ethnic Matching: Academic Success of Students of Color, written by Dr. Donald Easton-Brooks, explores the need for students to see themselves in the teachers who teach them, and what knowledge educators need to raise academic achievement of non-white students. It also provides insights into intentional culturally responsive teaching and its impact on learning in the classroom.
This discussion is for College of Education faculty and staff who have signed up and read the book. Dr. Easton-Brooks will join the event by Skype during the second half for remarks and a Q and A. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.
Please contact Jennifer Dodson with any questions or accommodations.
