Cook with a Redbird chef: Virtual winter edition
One of the more popular alumni and friends events may not be in person, but that does not mean Redbirds can’t cook with a Redbird chef from home this winter. Join Illinois State Family and Consumer Sciences graduate student Hannah Young as she teaches viewers how to make zoodles with avocado pesto. The virtual event is free to attend. Participants can register now through February 2 online or by calling Alumni Engagement at (309) 438-2586. In the following days, once registration is completed, guests will receive via email the zoodles and avocado pesto recipe, grocery list, and a step-by-step video to follow along to prepare a new entree to add to winter menus. Also, be sure to share favorite recipes and try out more through the Redbird Recipe website.
