Course Design for Future Faculty

Course Design for Future Faculty is intended specifically for graduate students interested in pursuing faculty careers. This summer-long program dives into developing effective learning outcomes, robust assessments aligned to those learning outcomes, and engaging learning activities that will help prepare your students for success. By the end of the program, you will have a full course plan that you could take directly into the classroom for the Fall semester. You will learn to integrate the Framework for Inclusive Teaching Excellence throughout your course design and teaching to support equity, diversity, inclusion, and access.  

A $500 stipend is available to eligible participants who complete the program. Participants do not need a current teaching assignment, but they must have an assistantship or other University employment in August 2024 in order to receive the stipend. Registration is required by April 26.
