Creating & Grading Assignments in Canvas

The Assignments and Gradebook tools in Canvas work in tandem, differently than you might have experienced in ReggieNet or other learning management systems. The Assignments tool is for creating and editing, while the Gradebook is exclusively for grading. In this session, you will explore the life cycle of a graded assignment— creating the assignment, adding rubrics, creating any necessary assignment groups based on your grading system, establishing grade posting policies in your gradebook, and actually grading the assignment using SpeedGrader.
