Creative Student Protest
Throughout the world, students have often been both the leaders and demonstrators in movements to enact liberatory change, often within the context of an institutional setting. These movements have often made use of creativity, both in tactics and in symbolism, and have inspired the wider worlds of activism and art. In this workshop, we’ll learn how students have used creativity as a tool in their activism. We will then work together to generate ideas and artwork that can be used in any course to help students as they develop their own voices. Registration is required by June 10th.
Participants will receive a $100 stipend for successfully completing this course.
