Developing a Curriculum Vitae (CV) for Graduate Students
In the last session of the Graduate School Series, learn how to write a quality curriculum vitae. Curriculum Vitaes (also called a CV) and resumes have similar purposes; they are both marketing documents for job seekers that provide key information about your skills, experiences, education, and personal qualities to prove that you are the ideal candidate for a job in an easy-to-digest format. However, resumes and CVs differ in their use, format and length. CVs are typically used in academia and used to outline a job seeker’s work, past publications, and research projects.
