Equity in the College Classroom

Inclusive learning and teaching refer to the ways in which pedagogy, curricula, and assessment are designed and delivered to engage students in learning that is meaningful, relevant, and accessible to all. In this session, we will hear from a panel of students and discuss how we can integrate practices into our teaching so that students can feel a sense of belonging and success. We will also discuss the “equity-minded syllabus” and consider how this classroom tool can be used to, welcome students to the course, demystify the course experience, and validate their ability to succeed. Registration is required.
