Establishing Successful Co-Teaching Relationships
Designed well, co-teaching experiences in the college classroom can be positive for both students and teachers, creating a dynamic of collaboration and shared purpose. However, such experiences can also have less-positive outcomes, due to lack of cohesion, planning, or communication across instructors. Join two faculty members, who have designed and sustained a successful co-teaching relationship over the last four years, to discuss student and faculty perspectives reflecting the realities of co-taught coursework. Research-informed best practices in co-teaching will be discussed along with strategies to improve or revitalize your co-teaching relationships. A stipend is available for eligible participants. Registration is required.
