WHO WE ARE:
Euphemism is edited by undergraduate and graduate students at Illinois State University. We accept innovative poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, visual art, spoken word, experimental sound and video projects, and original music from ISU students and from any and all writers, singers, musicians, artists, and filmmakers who send submissions. We welcome all lovers of words, sounds, ideas, images, and creativity. Our goal is to publish writers and artists at varied points in their careers.
Euphemism has a prestigious history as ISU’s literary journal. Formerly known as The Druid’s Cave and The Triangle, The ISU English Department has published a growing number of exciting and innovative creative genres over the decades. The current editorial board honors our past editors, writers, and artists and hopes to continue the strong tradition of creative expression at ISU.
