Event Description

Illinois State University’s Fall 2018 Social Sciences Internship/Job Fair is on Thursday, September 20, 2018, in the Bone Student Center’s Prairie Room from 1-4 p.m.

The Departments of Criminal Justice Sciences, Health Sciences, Politics and Government, Psychology, Sociology/Anthropology, and The School of Social Work are hosting a collaborative free internship fair to provide students with the opportunity to meet with agencies related to their fields of study. We are trying to increase networking opportunities for students by providing them with agency and department contacts from all areas of our disciplines, both local and regional.

Students of any major or level are encouraged to attend! If you’ve never been to a career fair before, have no fear – The Career Center will be giving tours to help you navigate the fair. Tours will be available at 1:15 and 2:15 p.m. They also have a Career Resources page that provides information you will need – such as Dress for Success, a video that discusses proper attire for interviews, but is also relevant for career fairs. Be prepared!

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
