Fine Frauds: Pirate Editions and Strange Anomalies in Special Collections

Event Description

Maureen Brunsdale, Associate Professor and Head of Special Collections and Rare Books, and Mark Schmitt, Special Collections Specialist, will present a talk entitled, “Fine Frauds: Pirate Editions and Strange Anomalies from the Vault of Special Collections”, at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons. Come join Maureen and Mark as they showcase curiosities from Special Collections in Milner Library. Pirate editions from the literary black-market, books defaced by public personas, and other such oddities will be discussed.
All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.
