Event Description

Friendly Faces is an active collaborative network providing student survivors of sexual assault with support and facilitating access to needed services. “Friendly Faces” training provides volunteers with information on sexual violence within the campus community, survivor reactions and needs and the referral process. Students play a vital role in establishing a caring campus community as student survivors will frequently speak with their friends about an unwanted sexual experience. “Friendly Faces” provide a supportive and understanding response to survivors and assist them with accessing needed services. Student Friendly Faces also attend monthly follow-up training meetings. Registration is required and can be completed online by visiting Counseling.IllinoisState.edu and clicking on the Friendly Faces link.

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
