Guest Artist Recital: Felipe Rodrigues, piano

Felipe Rodrigues is a Brazilian pianist and an ISU alum. After obtaining his Master Degree in both Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano, Felipe moved to London, UK. There, his first musical engagement was a recital at Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears’s Red House. A collaborative recital with ISU’s voice teacher Dr. Justin Vickers. Also, he worked as a collaborative pianist at the Royal Academy of Music, accompanying students of vocal professor Neil Mackie. Furthermore, he was the collaborative pianist for Yoko Ono’s Imagine Project, Matthew Herbert’s London Brexit Choir, Enfield Choral Society, and Croydon Male Voice Choir. Besides all his collaborative work, Felipe also taught the piano and performed in solo and duo recitals. In 2018, Felipe moved to Portugal, where he has been working as a piano teacher and collaborative pianist at Conservatory of Cascais. He worked as a collaborative pianist at University of Evora and has been performing solo recitals.
