Guiding, Teaching, and Breaking Through Bottlenecks in Learning
Teaching a course comes with both successes and failures. Those failures are like bottlenecks that limit the overall success of our course. So how can we break through? Participants will examine concepts of “bottlenecks” and identify a key concept or process students struggle to learn in a course they teach. Then, participants will develop ways to provide students tools and opportunities to move forward. By removing the road blocks to our learning outcomes, students are better able to learn the concepts you set out to teach. A stipend is available for eligible participants. Registration is required.
