Date:
Tuesday, January 14th
Time:
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Event Description

The Illinois State University Alumni Association believes in lifelong learning and career development even after graduation. Take advantage of these free webinars and live streams as they fit into everyday life to continue to learn and grow together as Redbirds. Be sure to register in advance to gain access to the webinar.

What you will learn: Start 2020 off right with an invaluable look at how the principles of design thinking can help you make better decisions both personally and professionally. Design thinking is a process for creative problem solving that has become a mainstay of entrepreneurs and large companies. Learn how to apply these principles in your daily life to make achieving your goals and solving difficult problems a repeatable habit.

The webinar will be presented by design thinking expert Dr. Bernard Roth. Roth has taught courses on creativity and design thinking for more than 40 years and is a co-founder of the cutting-edge design school (known as the d.school) at Stanford. Roth is also the author of the popular book, The Achievement Habit: Stop Wishing, Start Doing, and Take Command of Your Life.
