Get great tips from actual employers that will help you prepare for and be confident when participating in the spring career fairs. Employer representatives will be from a variety of industries and will discuss the following topics:
- Preparation – Learn the basics for how to: dress for a career fair and/or interview, create a great first impression, research employers, and follow up after a fair.
- Practice – Create a 30 second elevator speech to use at a career fair or to answer “tell me about yourself.”
- Pitch– Practice your handshake and pitch (elevator speech) to employers.
Sessions are only 40 minutes in length and are held between the hours of 5-7 p.m.
