International Seminar Series: “Can Artic Sea Ice Fluctuations Influence U.S. Summer Weather?”
Dr. Dagmar Budikova, professor and chair in the Illinois State University Department of Geography will present “Can Artic Sea Ice Fluctuations Influence U.S. Summer Weather?” on Wednesday, April 8, from noon – 1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Ballroom 1 as part of Spring 2020 International Seminar Series “Local and Global Environments in Conversation.”
This series offers the Illinois State University campus and the Bloomington-Normal community weekly opportunities to learn about a wide range of international topics. Guest speakers are experts in their fields, which include a range of disciplines including cultural, historical, political, social, and scientific topics.
The talks are every Wednesday from noon – 1 p.m. during the semester. These free events are open to the public and include a free buffet lunch.
