International Seminar Series: “Taste and Sustainability in Chocolate History”
Dr. Kathryn Sampeck, Associate Professor in the Illinois State University Department of Sociology and Anthropology will present “Taste and Sustainability in Chocolate History” on Wednesday, February 19, from noon – 1 p.m. in the Activity Room of the ISU Bowling and Billiards Center as part of Spring 2020 International Seminar Series “Local and Global Environments in Conversation.”
This series offers the Illinois State University campus and the Bloomington-Normal community weekly opportunities to learn about a wide range of international topics. Guest speakers are experts in their fields, which include a range of disciplines including cultural, historical, political, social, and scientific topics.
The talks are every Wednesday from noon – 1 p.m. during the semester. These free events are open to the public and include a free buffet lunch.
