ISU Faculty String Quartet Recital
Event Description
The ISU Faculty String Quartet will perform works by Beethoven and Prokofiev. Faculty members Sarah Gentry (violin), Kate Lewis (viola), and Adriana Ransom (cello) are joined by graduate student Kelsey Klopfenstien (violin) for the performance. Musicology professor Allison Alcorn will discuss the string quartet as a genre and its evolution over the centuries.
The performance will be presented in the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center at 4:15 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THE EARLIER TIME (4:15 p.m.) for the beginning of the performance.
All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.
