Latin@ Alumni Network annual meeting and potluck
The Latin@ Alumni Network has had much success for an organization established just four short years ago, and it is only with passionate alumni can we sustain the work. LAN has fundraised more than $17,000, awarded five scholarships to current students, and hosted several social events for Latino alumni to gather and network. Be a part of LAN to help plan how Redbirds can continue to stay connected and grow.
Attend this year’s annual meeting as the group recap past successes, elect new leadership and discuss the network’s direction for 2019. LAN runs on alumni volunteer power so your participation is vital to the growth of our young organization!
Before getting down to business, there will be lunch, potluck-style! Please plan to bring a dish to share for about 20 people. We will reconfirm number of attendees the week of the meeting.
Be sure to make an annual tax-deductible gift of $50 or more to LAN before the meeting. The fundraising year begins on July 1 and ends June 30. This gift provides support to Latin@ Alumni Network scholarships and also offers graduates the right to full participation through discussion and vote in the decision-making process.
