Lifestyle Enhancement Program – T’ai Chi: Chen Style
T’ai Chi is often referred to as moving meditation. T’ai Chi Chen Style involves forms forms 1 – 10 or 12 and qigong training. Lifestyle Enhancement classes are taught by certified, experienced instructors and concentrate on functional health, relaxation, and maintenance of a healthy spine throughout life. These classes may appeal to those with low back discomfort, chronic health conditions, or those who wish to reduce stress levels. There is a fee associated with participation in most classes and activities. Classes are open to faculty, staff, students, retirees, and graduates of Illinois State as well as community members.
