Milner Game Night

Thursday, November 9, 2023 , 6:30 pm 9:00 pm CST

Join Milner Library for an evening of fun and games celebrating International Games Week on Thursday, November 9, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the library’s third floor. Bring friends (or make new ones) while taking a study break with tabletop games, video games, snacks, and more. No prior registration is needed to attend, although RSVP is appreciated. Participants can either bring their own games or enjoy one of the many that will be provided.

Games that will be available include, but not limited to:

  • Apples to Apples
  • Bananagrams
  • Exploding Kitties
  • playing cards 
  • Puzzles
  • Scattegories
  • Sorry!
  • Uno
  • MarioKart (in collaboration with Redbird Esports)

About International Games Week  

International Games Week is a non-commercial, volunteer-run library initiative under the auspices of the American Library Association in partnership with the Australian Library and Information AssociationNordic Game WeekFinnish Game Week, and Associazione Italiana Biblioteche sponsored by a number of quality game publishers and distributors. International Games Week, previously known as National Games Day (2007) and National Games Week (2012) began in 2017 and is a valuable way for libraries and communities around the world to join together and engage in play.
