Event Description

Join us in stitching together a community quilt that celebrates our diversity. Tell your story through quilting!
Bring a 14×14 inch square of fabric that is meaningful to you. Attendees will use needles and thread to stitch fabric into a quilt square. Quick demonstrations of simple stitches will be provided by IAS teaching artists. Groups invited include: Not In Our Town, Black Lives Matter, Black History Project, Prairie Pride Coalition!
Attendees will be encouraged to participate in social justice discussions facilitated by IAS staff.
Accommodations will be made for those of the Deaf community.
FREE with RSVP.
Registration ends Thursday, May 2nd.
