Printmaking program for Redbird alumni
Saturday, November 16 , 10:00 am – 1:00 pm CST
Alumni, family, and friends can join the ISU Wonsook Kim School of Art’s printmaking program to make their own Illinois State University tote!
If you have a piece of clothing with a graphic on it, chances are you’re wearing a silk screen print. During this event, participants will learn a bit about the process of silkscreen, see the new facility in the Center for Visual Arts, print an image on a tote bag (as seen above), and take it home.
When: 6-9 p.m., Friday, October 11 OR 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, November 16
Where: ISU Center for Visual Arts, room 123
Cost is $30/person and includes tote and light appetizers. Register by October 4 for October session or November 11 for November session To register, call Juliana Nelson at (309) 438-2495 Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sessions occur in 30-minute intervals. The event is suitable for those eight and older and is open until sold out!
