Event Description

Social justice is more than just race or cultural groups, it includes the ability to understand unequal economic, political, and social opportunities. Social justice recognizes institutional racism, sexism, marginalization, and other oppressive conditions that shape the lives of our diverse populations. In this workshop, learn how to recognize privilege and oppression, appreciate cultural differences, and challenge social injustices. Investigate how personal biases may unintentionally influence you and others. Develop your critical consciousness to incorporate social justice in your professional practice.
