PSY Alumni Day Speaker: Cory Tello
The Department of Psychology will present a talk titled, “Calling All System Thinkers: Maintaining Equilibrium while Embracing Systems Change,” with Corliss (Cory) Tello, ’73, M.S. ’74, Friday, October 7, at 2:45 p.m. in 551 DeGarmo Hall. Tello is the recipient of the Department of Psychology?s 2016 Alumnus of the Year–Lifetime Career Award.
Tello received an M.S. in School Psychology from Illinois State. She held positions as therapist, school psychologist, special education administrator, and technical assistance coordinator for Illinois PBIS Network and Illinois Technical Assistance Collaborative (ISTAC) prior to her 2014 retirement. Serving on boards of the McLean County Health Department and The Baby Fold and working to implement the Mclean County Mental Health Action Plan, she is committed to integrating education with public, primary, and behavioral health.
