Redbird night at Chicago White Sox/St. Louis Cardinals game
It’s time for Chicago baseball Redbirds! For our South Siders, our White Sox night is looking for a little Sweet Home Chicago, or if you are a St. Louis fan, you’re in luck to see the Cardinals in the visiting team dugout. A pregame reception is planned with chances to meet the new executive director of alumni engagement Kris Harding, M.S. ’94, head baseball coach Bo Durkac, Reggie Redbird and other ISU leadership. After a chance to reconnect with Illinois State and hang out with fellow alumni, we’ll head to the stadium to catch the game!

ChiSox Bar & Grill

7:10 p.m., first pitch

Another special bonus for our Redbirds at this game includes the chance to win a signed Paul DeJong ’15 baseball. DeJong, a former Redbird baseball player, is now the starting shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals and was named the July 2017 National League Rookie of the Month and came in second for the 2017 Rookie of the Year.
Cost includes a lower-corner game ticket, a dinner buffet, and nonalcoholic beverages at the pregame reception. A cash bar will be available. Plenty of standing room is available but venue seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are limited to four per alum per game and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be distributed at the pregame reception.
