(Re)Imagining Your Writing Intensive Course
Whether you’re teaching a writing intensive course for the first time or the fiftieth, it’s never too early (or too late) to spend some time (re)imagining the ways in which you can most effectively integrate a variety of writing and writing-related activities into your course. Learn to design effective writing exercises, explore promising practices in responding to student writing, and discover the potential of rubrics in assessing student writing. Come prepared to write, and be advised, there may be homework! A stipend is available for eligible participants who complete all three sessions. Registration is required.
