Research Series – Brown bag panel discussion on elderly health

The Sociology and Anthropology Department will be hosting it’s first of three brown bag research series events this semester. For this first event, Dr. Chris Wellin, associate professor of sociology, will be facilitating a panel discussion on the topic of campus and community wide initiatives that promote health and social integration among older adults in McLean County. Other panelists with Wellin include Elizabeth Kosuth, project manager of the ANEW grant (Advanced Nursing Education Workforce) of the Mennonite College of Nursing, and Lakeesha James-Smith, elder services coordinator with Bloomington Housing Authority.
