Event Description

Register now for this fall’s Saturday Creative Arts Program at Illinois State University!  Two programs, Visual Arts and Creative Drama are being offered for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Register for one or both programs for a fun opportunity for your child(ren) to cultivate their artistic spirit!  Registration period ends September 8, 2018.  Early registration is recommended as classes are very popular!

The Illinois State University College of Fine Arts, School of Art is proud to bring FIVE exciting Saturday mornings of creative fun to Bloomington-Normal this Fall!

Saturday Creative Arts Program classes will meet: September 8, 15, 22, 29 & October 6

Registration Fee

The Saturday Art Program fee is $60 for the first student, and $55 for additional students. Register here.

Visual Arts Classes

Join us as we creatively express individual thoughts and ideas using a variety of art materials and processes as well as learn about art and artists from various countries and cultures.

Visual Arts Class Meeting Times:  from 9:00am-10:50am

Children enrolled in the Visual Arts classes will meet between 8:45-9:00am at the School Street turn-around area. Art Education students will escort the children to their classes and back again to the School Street spot for pick-up.

Creative Drama Class Meeting Times:  from 11:00am-12:30pm

Children enrolled only in the Creative Drama classes will meet in the Centennial East Lobby between 10:50-10:55am and be escorted to their classes by the staff. They will be escorted and back to the Centennial East Lobby at the end of class for pick-up.
