Senior Recital: Chloe Horn, trumpet

Chloe is the recent recipient of the ISU Bone Scholarship. She currently is studying Music Education and plans to teach as an elementary music teacher in the Chicago area upon graduation. Her favorite thing about the music being performed is Alexandra Pakhmutova’s Trumpet Sonata is beautifully and traditionally Russian with its large peaks, broad vibrato, and triumphant passages. It is equally enjoyable to play as it is to listen to. I can’t wait to perform it!
