Showcasing Local Art and Artists: Nancy Fewkes and L J Douglas

For the past several years, Nancy Fewkes has been working on a photographic project in the environments of Spring Lake and Lake Evergreen, both located within an hour of home. A study of temporal and spatial dimension, her ongoing dialogue with these places is framed by a diaristic exploration of light.

L J Douglas is a visual artist who works in painting (oil and encaustics), artists’ books, animations, videography and prints. She will be making a presentation on her prints and the wide ranging ideas she draws on to create them.
