Bring the classroom whiteboard to your digital learning space with Studio Glass, an easy-to-use, self-service recording studio at CTLT. Studio Glass uses lightboard technology that allows you to write and draw on screen while speaking directly into camera.
You’ll cover the basics of how to create video lessons for flipped, blended, and fully online teaching situations. Explore proven practices for planning, presenting, and packaging your creations. This is a hands-on learning experience: you will work in groups to plan a demonstration, get coached individually during your performance, and then learn the simplest methods for editing and preparing your video for upload. You’ll leave with an artifact upon which you can base lessons for your own courses. Due to its collaborative nature, seating for this workshop is extremely limited. A stipend is available for eligible participants. Registration is required.
