Event Description

Celebrate turning in final grades and get in a happy mood for the start of summer!

Join us at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology for food, comradery, and the kickoff of the 2019 Summer Reading Challenge. You’ll be introduced to Teaching Naked: How Moving Technology Out of Your Classroom Will Improve Student Learning by Jose Antonio Bowen. In addition to authoring the common reading for the 2019 challenge, Bowen will be on campus next year to keynote the 2020 University-Wide Teaching & Learning Symposium.

You’ll also be able to browse books, listen to book talks, meet the other Reading Challenge participants, and enjoy lunch.  Bring a favorite teaching-related book to recommend to others!

No registration is required for the Summer Kickoff—stop by when you can for as long as you can.
