Event Description

Critical thinking is the 21st century skill par excellence. Our students’ ability to successfully navigate the universe of information around us and to participate effectively in our democratic society hinges on their critical thinking skills. But how do we know critical thinking when we see it? How can we better promote it in our classrooms? In this workshop you will learn how to hone a definition of critical thinking that meshes with the content of your course. You will also develop learning activities that allow students to cultivate their critical thinking skills. Finally, you will develop a plan for assessing critical thinking in your classroom. Registration is required.

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
