Teaching with Mindfulness
Research shows mindfulness and meditation reduce stress and anxiety. These practices can improve sleep, healthy eating behaviors, academic performance, and they can contribute to a greater sense of well-being and happiness. Learn about the art and science of mindfulness, what it is and how it works. Explore how to incorporate mindfulness when working with students. You will practice the mindfulness meditation techniques that are used in the Koru Mindfulness class taught through Health Promotion and Wellness. A stipend is available for eligible participants. Registration is required.
