Training “Intimate Partner Sexual Violence” for CDVP, CPAIP

Melissa R McGraw, MA, LCPC, CDVP, CPAIP, CCTP, Director of Counseling Services at Safe Passage in DeKalb, Illinois, will provide an in-depth look at the issue of intimate partner sexual violence. This will include a historical and cultural context, belief systems of perpetrators, impact on victims, and intervention within PAIP groups.
The Center for Prevention of Abuse will issue CDVP and CPAIP certiﬁcates on site at the completion of the training. Illinois State University School of Social Work will issue the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for any LCSW’s, LSW’s, LPC’s, and LCPC’s registered via email the week after training. A certiﬁcate of completion will be issued if CEUs are not needed.
