“Trick or Treating for Change” for Habitat for Humanity of McLean County
Students register in teams to support the ISU/IWU Habitat for Humanity house construction. Teams will fundraise by “trick or treating” for donations throughout Bloomington-Normal.
Registration opens October 1. Check-in will take place from 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, in the Prairie Room of the Bone Student Center. The event will conclude by 8 p.m.
On Halloween night hundreds of Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan students will be Trick or Treating for Change for Habitat for Humanity of McLean County. This year marks the 25th annual Collegiate Chapter Habitat for Humanity build anniversary. No other collegiate chapter has achieved the 25 year/25th annual home build. State Farm has awarded two student chapters a grant matching the first $10,000 contributed. Please help them make their $10,000 goal for the State Farm matching grant!
This year’s build, which will be home to our Partner Family, the Yetimbis, is now under construction on the corner of Keiser Ave & Bryan St in Normal.
