TV-10 News 50th anniversary reunion
Friday, April 12 , 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm CDT
TV-10 turned on the studio lights and hit record in 1974. Fifty years later it has produced thousands of successful professionals in front of and behind the camera. Let’s celebrate all of our alumni and station accomplishments together at this 50th anniversary milestone event!
FRIDAY, APRIL 12
7 p.m., Uptown Normal Social: Reconnect over a drink in Uptown Normal. Get together at Pub II, Maggie Miley’s, Lunker’s, and more, and enjoy drinks from a TV-10 special menu!
SATURDAY, APRIL 13
10 a.m.-1 p.m., Breakfast and TV-10 Open House: Join TV-10 alumni, staff, and current students in Fell Hall for a light breakfast buffet, a tour of the studio, and the TV-10 newscast at noon! Cost to attend: $5.
5:30-10 p.m., TV-10 50th Reunion Dinner and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: Join us at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Uptown Normal for a special celebration and the induction of the new members of the Broadcast Hall of Fame. The night will include a cocktail hour, dinner buffet, and ceremony. Cost to attend: $80. A cash bar will be available.
Register by 4:30 p.m. on March 21 online or by calling Alumni Engagement at (309) 438-2586. An option is also available to sponsor a current student to attend at $50. A block of rooms is available through March 18 at the Marriott Hotel for $139/night. Mention TV-10 reunion if reserving by phone.
