The American Resident Theatre Versus the NFL: Not as Different as You Think

Date:
Friday, April 21st
Time:
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Event Description

William Prenevost, Managing Director of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, will present a talk entitled, “The American Resident Theatre Versus the NFL: Not as Different as You Think” at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center. The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is marking its 40th Season of staging professional productions in these twin cities. It is not a coincidence that many other regional professional theatres have and are noting the same benchmark.  I will give context to ISF’s celebratory season by sharing my forty-year perspective working in the field known as the American resident theatre.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website, http://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
