Event Description

Mark Grizzard, Assistant Professor of Music, will present a program entitled, “The Singing Revolution” at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center.  This program will preview the recital of the ISU Chamber Singers Oct 25 in the Kemp Recital Hall as they celebrate the centennials of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, and share the incredible story of how these Baltic nations used music as a weapon for peace.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday Sept 28 in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend.

Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website, http://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.
