Date:
Friday, October 26th
Time:
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Website:

Event Description

Jeanna Campbell, a second year graduate student in the School of Social Work, and Noah Tang, a senior Education major, will present a talk, “A Food Pantry Helps ISU Students Facing Food Insecurity” at 4:30 pm at the University Club in the Atrium in the Bone Student Center. Food insecurity (or not knowing where the next meal is coming from) motivated ISU students to establish a food pantry to help their fellow students. Food insecurity is a growing problem at U.S. universities including ISU. The speakers will discuss the background of this problem and the ways in which this problem may be addressed.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Atrium in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend.

Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website, http://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
