Please Note: The University Club meeting for Friday Sept 7 will be held at the Ewing Manor.

Toni Tucker, Director of the Ewing Cultural Center and Associate Director of University Advancement, will present a talk entitled, “Ewing Manor, 1928 – 2018, the First Ninety Years” at the Ewing Manor at 4:30 p.m. Friday Sept 7. Her multimedia presentation will cover the first ninety years of Ewing Manor, from the building of the manor to present day restoration projects. (Following the talk, the University Club members and guests are invited to enjoy the elegant rooms in the Manor). Davis and Hazle Buck Ewing placed a time capsule in the cornerstone of their home. On September 27, 2018 the cornerstone will be opened with many of the Ewing and Buck families in attendance. The public can tour the manor and see the time capsule contents on September 27 from 5 – 7 p.m.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday Sept 7 at the Ewing Manor. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Parking is available at the St. John’s Lutheran Church parking lot across Emerson Street. Pedestrians should cross over to Ewing Manor at the traffic lights at the intersection of Emerson and Towanda. People with a handicapped tag may park along the right edge of the Ewing Manor driveway.
