The Stevenson Center’s Role in Community/Economic Development at Home and Abroad
Event Description
Beverly A. Beyer, Senior Associate Director of the Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development at ISU, and Katie Raynor, Program Coordinator, will present a talk entitled, “The Stevenson Center’s Role in Community/Economic Development at Home and Abroad”, at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center.
Through its amazing graduate students, the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University serves communities domestically and overseas. Using examples of student accomplishments inside and outside the classroom, the talk will update the University Club on the Center’s most recent activities. Since last presenting to the UClub, we now include graduate students across five degree programs and two colleges; we also launched an undergraduate program preparing Illinois State students for Peace Corps service!
All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website, http://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.
